St. John's is offering a summer leadership experience for youth in Grades 6 - 12 (2026-2027)! The VBS Trailblazer Program allows for middle and high school youth to develop leadership abilities in the church while working alongside our experienced adult volunteers.
Trailblazers will play a critical role in this year's Rainforest Falls VBS program, giving younger children the ability to see our love for Jesus Christ through all generations of our faith community. Additionally, this program benefits teens wishing to build their resumes and skill sets early on.
Trailblazers can volunteer anywhere from one to all five nights of VBS (selected below) and are needed in the following areas:
- Preschool Assistants
- Snack Room Assistants
- Outdoor Recreation
- Craft Time
- Song Leading
- Bible Study Assistant
- Grade Rotation Assistants
Applications for the Trailblazer Program are due by June 1, 2026 and are open to all St. John's youth. Applicants must be able to attend training on the afternoon of Sunday, July 26th (exact time TBD).
